    PC Power supply help

Hello all, I have been coming to this site for years now and I just now registered LOL. But anyway I hope this is a pretty simple question.

I am getting ready to build my first carPC, now as a side note I've been building computers since I was in the 5th grade. Now the thing is I am installing a Full Gaming PC custom built by me. I dont think im going to run SLi but im definately going to have more than one video card because i want to beable to run atleast 3 independant screens. now the thing is I want all of this powerd by a Ultra 1000W modular power supply, but I still want to have the functionality that the power supply's on this website have, such as hibernate and wake with the ignition, how can i achieve this. or is there a power supply that is made for a car that is atleast 800W?

First of all, hibernation has nothing to do with the power supply. That is all a function of the BIOS and how it interacts with Windoze.

You are not going to find a DC-DC power supply that can power all that.
Unless you plan on playing Crysis or GTA4 in the car, I'd nix the SLI 3D cards and look into USB video adapters. They are less expensive and draw far less power.

If you truly plan on running a PC of that caliber in your ride, you'll need an inverter. You can use a standalone startup/shutdown controller to turn the PC on/off.
Have you looked in the FAQ yet?
    How about the Wiki?
