Try the MB with a known good desktop Power Supply to prove the board is working.
So I have a via-m10000 motherboard. My opus power supply went dead so I had a dsx12vd sitting around and I ordered a picopsu

Right now I have the pico plugged into the MB. THe white wire going to the spade connector on the dsx12vd. The ground is going to the same ground as the dsx12vd. THe powers are jumpered together to make things simpler as it's on my bench.
The red light is on on the dsx12vd. When I hit the power button on the MB, as soon as I let it go the LED on the dsx12vd goes off and the fan on the MB spins for about 1 second, then stops.
I first hooked them up about 1 hour ago and it booted a few times no problem but now it won't. The fuse is good. I have it plugged into a battery charger set to 12v on 6amps. I tried it at 2amps and still get nothing.
At one point the fan on the MB would not turn on at all, it would just twitch. Like it started to spin like a 1/4 rotation and stop then just twitch.
Also the 4pin connector on the pico I tried connecting that to the dsx12vd and tried leaving it disconnected which is the state it is in now. I figred if I had a p4 board it would just jumper from the 20pin to the 4pin on the board and since I don't have that I don't need it.
Help me because I"m lost and I would love to get it working by this weekend.

Yep it works fine that way.
Also I took the dsx12vd out of the configuration and it still did the same thing.
It's off the battery charger which is good since I used it to charge my battery recently.
Does the ground on the pico power supply go to the ground 4pin connector coming off the dsx12vd or does it go to chassis ground?
