I recently acquired HP-ePC-42 (P4 processor)that I was hoping to use for carPC. The computer came withous a PSu so i had to buy an M2-ATX which seems to be able to support P4 Mobos.
The PSU cable for the e-42 MOBO has 4 yellow cables and 4 black cables (19V & 12V) while the P4 support from the PSU only has 4 cable pins (2 yellow and 2 black). I tried splicing together the 4 yellow cables from E-PC into the 2 yellow pins from PSU and did a similar splice for the black cables. But I have not been successful at powering up the MOBO.
One more detail, I am drawing my power supply from a power block from regular PC in accoedance with instructions from

Does any one know how to use the M2-Atx to power this e-pc Mobo?
