    Which AC Adapter?

    I have an Intel D945GCLF2 (Core 2 Duo @ 1.6GHz) kit with the M2-ATX PSU. HDD, DVD ROM and a PCI wireless card are installed. What specs do I need in an AC adapter to run this setup? I have a 12 Volt/2A adapter from an external HD that fits and could work, but I'm thinking I need more amps.

    you could just run it off an standard ATX power supply with some mods

    So I got the 12V/5A AC adapter from MITXPC, and I hook it up but the carputer doesn't boot. Shouldn't it power on after like 5 sec?

    I haven't left it plugged in more than maybe 10 seconds as I'm afraid if I leave it too long it might smoke or something, lol.
