USB hub resume/power on detect issues (M2?)

I have a M2 setup to power my 7 port hub and touch screen...
    It's setup to P1 mode (5 second off/1min. hard-off).
The problem I'm having is, when I hibernate the PC and power it back on BEFORE the 1min. hard-off, the PC doesn't 'see' the hub, and resumes without all my devices on the hub being detected...
If I wait longer than the 1 min., it resumes fine and everything is detected.

BTW, my mainboard beeps at POST for every USB device it picks up, so I can tell before it even starts to resume, whether or not the hub got detected...

The M2 is 'jumped' to trick it into thinking it's connected to a mainboard, which of course, it isn't...
So I can't set it to P0 mode (standard PSU) because it'll always be ON...

I need it to power off immediately, or as soon as the PC powers off...
    Is this possible??

So just to clarify, you are trying to get teh M2 to act as just a 12 volt and 5 volt power supply to power your usb hub and monitor, and need it to follow the computer's power state, correct? If this is the case, I would power the M2-ATX off of a relay controleld by a 12 volt (yellow on drive power) in the PC, set the M2-ATX for PSU mode, and jumper it as you already have to make it always on. This way, when the PC is on, the relay will supply power to the M2-ATX, which, since the ATX PS_ON signal is jumpered, will turn on, supplying power to 12 and 5 volt devices connected.

Thought of that...but not sure if it would help...
I moved the hub to a different port, but NOW, first startup in the morning, it doesn't detect the hub, but I see it waiting a few seconds for the detection...but eventually it gives up and boots without it installed.
Then for the rest of the day, it starts fine and detects and boots up with all devices installed!
    Goddamn M2!!!

I have one of my alarm outputs hooked to a relay for firing up the PC...maybe I'll do what you suggested and power the M2 off it as a 'dumb' PSU.
It's looking like, for whatever reason, the hub isn't powering up fast enough in the morning...but is fine the rest of the day?

Well, more testing revealed something strange...
Sometimes, after resuming, my Carbuttons device isn't recognized. Not a big deal really...
Turns out, one of the ports on my 7 port hub is the culprit. Doesn't matter which device is plugged into it, most times it resumes properly, other times it doesn't.
All the other ports work fine.

The problem arises when it goes into hibernation WITHOUT this device detected. Upon resuming, and the BIOS picks up ALL the devices, this new hardware configuration doesn't match the hiber.sys hardware configuration, and resume 'hangs'...

Quite possibly too, this works in reverse...if the BIOS 'misses' the device on that one port, but the hibernation config show ALL the hardware, the same result occurs...

I'm going to use this port for one of my chassis-mount USB plugs, which shouldn't be an issue if it resumes without it, as nothing is usually plugged into it...
