Best option for netbook, p1900 or ACPPSv1?

I have been looking at both of these products for use with a Dell mini 10 netbook as a carputer, but they both seem to be pretty overkill for the kind of power I am needing but seem to be the only options that I can see right now.

The P1900 actually has a pulse turn on which is nice and the ability to power my laptop, screen, and a usb hub with the add on. But there may be times when I dont want the unit on at all for driving down the street or moving the car out of the driveway to let someone out, etc... I guess I could put a switch on the ignition wire to solve that.

The ACPPSv1 is great cause it wont turn on unless the netbook is on which will require a switch to turn on everytime I start the car which isnt a huge deal to me, but its still an inconveience. It has the 5v output for a usb hub, and unregulated 12v for the screen, but I would need to buy an adapter for the netbook itself which would cost an additional $66 from lind. The 12v would work for the amp turn on as well.

Are there any other better alternatives to either of these? If not, for what I plan to use it for (netbook, monitor[not a huge issue since I can hook it up straight to battery], usb hub, and amps) which one would be the best option? any help and advice is appreciated!

Now that you can get a refurb mini 9 for under 200 I'm really interested in buying one of these to use as a car PC. Mount a touch screen in the dash and throw the mini in your glovebox, use the wake on lan feature and the minispark (not yet available, soon to be $99) and you basically have a carPC. Not sure how the laptop would be powered though, probably through an inverter so you don't have to cut up the power brick.

I ended up getting the P1900 with the addon 5V. The netbooks usb ports dont provide enough power for DAC's I have so I had to go with a powered USB HUB. Its the best and most cost efficient route that I found.
