    Powering Xenarc from an Opus?

I did a quick search and didn't find anything.

I am currently running my pc and screen off an inverter, but will be picking up an opus as soon as I have some extra cash. I want to ditch my inverter all together. Could I just tap into a 12v line off the psu to run the screen? That seems to simple as it probably needs 12v at a certain amp?

Is anyone doing this? If so how did you do it?

    Thanks,
    Lyth

It's been talked about a lot before but for some reason it didnt show up on the search. Anyway, yes you can power the Xenarc with the 12v line of the Opus PSU. That's what I did for my setup.

how exactly did you do it? Just cut the plug off and run it to 12v and ground of the psu?

you can just buy a plug that fits the xenarc at radio shack and use that.. just make sure you get the polarity right on it.

I have my xenarc hooked up straight to my acc right now and it works fine
