Ignition wire for Carnetix - where to tap into?

    Hi all,

Need to figure out how to run the ignition wire to the P1900. Does anybody know - do I need to find a specific ignition wire, or can I just tap into any wire that powers on with ignition (sorry, don't know the difference)? On my Subaru, I had a specific blue wire to the radio that I spliced that was called "ignition". Now, I am thinking of just using a fuse tap to go to, say, the cigarette lighter - it turns on with ignition, so it's got to be good enough?

    Thanks,

Any wire that powers on with the ignition.
Have you looked in the FAQ yet?
    How about the Wiki?

It is a low draw line, so any ignition line with 500mA will work.
