    Plug amp on my house ac power..

    When i use my car on my house i plug the carputer on my house's ac but the amp still draining my car's batteries power. So is it possible to plug all the sound components of my car (carputer + amp) to my house's ac power? What do i need to do that?

    You need to get a huge power supply.

    Let's say 12-14 VDC at aprox. 10-20 Amps ( look at the fuse in your amplifier to get a better idea).

    I doubt you'll find a power supply big enough that can do the job properly.

    It would be big and heavy.

    You may want to concider putting a charger on the battery when in use.

    You may still drain the battery some, but better than a dead battery...

    My friend has a 30A power supply he purchased from Radio Shack for about $120. He runs 1 Kicker 600W Amp and the 2 10" subs still thump hard. The only problem is minimal heat. Hope that helps.
