12v DC output to 5v DC output

    Hi,
I just received a replacement receiver from Sirius after my old Sportster went on the fritz. I had everything hardwired and was hoping to keep it that way without major surgery. Problem is, the power for the Sportster was 12v DC and the new receiver requires 5v DC. I am looking for a simple adapter that will take the 12v DC output that exudes from my dash and convert it to a 5v DC output, preferably as a short cord. Anyone know of such a thing?
    Thanks!
    chris

Thanks for the reply... I do not think this is what I want. I have searched all over... though I may be using the wrong terms. I would like something that has a female 12v DC input and a male 5v DC output. Maybe this does not exist.

Most cell phone and ipod adapters are 5V output. Maybe you can find some suitable configuration with one of those?

Cigarette-lighter adapter that has USB plugs.
You'll have to hack a USB cable to power your device.
The adapter is under $15 at walmart. USB cables are free if you know how to find 'em. Cheap if you don't.
Have you looked in the FAQ yet?
    How about the Wiki?
