Configuring OPUS for STANDBY=1Hr, then power off?>

    The manual has me stumped....lol

I'm moving over to W7, and I want to use Hybrid Sleep. I want to keep power to the 5V rail for 1Hr or so before powering off completely (after 1Hr, it'll resume thru the Hibernation data).
Can anyone assist me in the jumper config?

Is "Shutdown delay" the amount of time the PSU waits before triggering the ATX power switch?

Or is it the delay it waits before killing the 5V rail standby power (but triggers the ATX power off as soon as the IGN is removed?)

    Thanx

    Bump...

    Surely this is possible??
Why have a shutdown delay (actually delays the SHUTDOWN of the PC, notthe power off state) in the PSU????

looking at the opus manual its not possible to do timed hard shutdown.
it'll do regular s3 standby using the default configuration, but it won't hard shutdown for you.

heh, i don't think thats about to happen anytime soon, I've had my opus for years, and there has never been any sort of changes.
I'd ditch the opus and get something else DSATX if money isn't concerned, otherwise m4atx is looking pretty sharp lately after the bug fixes.
Or just leave your opus permanently on s3 standby instead of hibernation. It barely takes any power anyway. If you drive at least once a day, it should be fine to be on s3 constantly. I'd suggest leaving your pc on s3 hibernation for an entire day, and monitor your battery's voltage level, and see how quickly it drains first.

Don't forget to disconnect your computer if you're not driving it for an extended period of time.

Don't forget also, that all your USB device will draw current as well, while in S3...
For me, that quite a few devices!

email tech support on the opus site. I've asked them a few things and they are very helpful and knowledgeable. I have an Opus and this feature is not possible as far as I know but maybe they will be able figure something out for you, but prob will involve you sending it to them and prob paying them to alter it.

I thought windows would suspend them too? Vista/Windows 7 has a setting for that (Allow windows to turn off on hibernation, or something like that?)

I have a DSATX, I have it programmed to turn off the computer after 2,5 hours (9000 sec, max is 9999sec), or cut off power below 11v. You can't let it on S3 for longer than 2.75 h (or 9999sec). There is an option to let 5v on, but I don't think it's recommended. I think Jeff once said that leaving 5v on WILL discharge your battery, no matter what -- that is, the 11v limit won't be monitored for that).
