    DC-DC psu question

I was surfing ebay the other day and I happened to come across this dc-dc power supply. It looks powerful and cheap, but in the description it said that it is not recommended for vehicle use. Why is this? I asked the seller, but they still haven't responded.

It may not be able to cope well with the input voltage that a vehicle can produce (5V-24V+). The M{1-4}-atx PSUs usually capacitate the input voltage to compensate for big drops and surges. If i were you, i'd spend the extra bux and get a minibox usbdcdc or even a carnetix psu.
