How do you calculate how many Watts a device uses?

I am trying to figure out how many watts the hardware I am using needs (approximately). How do I calc that?

    My Equip:
    ITX EPIA 800 (pre-M series)
    Laptop Harddrive(5V)
    Laptop DVD-ROM (5V)
LCD (Found it uses approximately 5 watts using 12V)
    Touchscreen (12V)
    (2) USB Devices

All I need is the method to calc it, but if you know offhand what these pieces typically use, I would greatly take that info as well.

    Amps x Volts = Watts

    2A x 12v=24W

    5w/12v=.5A
