Stuck with HP Slimline Power Supply

I got all my stuff pretty much ready for my 350z...im debating if I should go with a small powerful shuttle xpc or a modified HP Slimline PC, both are good..but their power supplies are specially made for them. I cant seem to find a "P9" power DC-DC power supply that works with the hp slimline or the shuttle xpc, Can i hard wire it somehow using a normal ATX DC-DC power supply?

Probably the easiest way: Get an ATX to AT adapter, but yes you can hard wire it the same way.

    PSSST!
    Read the FAQs, man.
There's likely a DC-DC PSU that will work well with either solution you are considering.
Have you looked in the FAQ yet?
    How about the Wiki?

    what is "p9" power?

locate the voltage output, and amperage ratings of the adapter, and then find the closest dc-dc option that puts out at least that much power..

Sorry, P9 is a 9 pin connector also know as an AT connector from pre-ATX days.
