Thread: Carnetix Support Suck!

So, are you saying their support sucks because you were using their product on an older operating system and you changed operating systems and they haven't provided you with a product that works on that operating system?

And further, that they said a beta would be out, but didn't give a date for it?

I'm a little confused about what you think they promised you and what they didn't give you.

the whole freakin post is confusing to me i had my finger on the "delete as spam" button while trying to comprehend it.

Well I'm tempted to give an infraction to sharpmusic for a post full of spam.

If you read through the 'posts' he has 'copied' and pasted here there seems to be spam phrases in them.

But I'll give the benefit of the doubt for now.

All the replies by supposed admins are spam, that forum is being spammed to hell and back, and all the users are site admins for some reason.

Oh by the way .. I am far from stupid, so EZ on the name calling. Talking smack from a Armchair is not too smart either. I will not justify your remark with a equally ignorant response. I have had a PC in my vehicle since 1999 or so. I just have better things to do with my time than to learn ALL the nuances of posting on forums. I was just voicing my frustrations over a product. In hopes that others who may be experiencing the same issue would give feedback. So as far as the 2140 on windows 7 my issue is that the 2140 is not showing as connected. In addition to the fact that the carnetix support forum doesn't really provide any useful information.

Right, but Carnetix doesn't support Windows 7, correct? They didn't make that claim when you bought the product and while they said they may have a 'beta' version out for Windows 7 they never promised a ship date nor did they say you would get access to that version, correct?

It sounds to me like you *want* them to support Windows 7 and are angry that they don't. Further, you are upset that they won't act on your request that they support Windows 7.

I can certainly understand that frustration but am not sure that you have a legitimate cause for complaint.

There are ways to get the 2140 to work with Win7, compatibility mode, or using the sys tray application instead of Psumoni. These are documented on the forums here.

Yes, the Carnetix forums indeed appear to be compromised, definitely do not want that here.

They do have working drivers and software for it. I have been testing it for months. I suggest you either email them directly or post on there forum asking about it. They are kind of slow to respond in my past dealings but usually not too bad.
