What about the blue/white? Was that the delayed wire that goes to the amp for anti-thump? Can/Should I use it to power the monitor or use something else?

The Blue/White wire is the 12v delayed output for turning on your amplifier or other additional equipment. Don't use this to power devices, as it has a 0.75A internal fused line.
the remote wire on my opus was not enough to turn on my amp. I wired my amp turn-on right into one of the 12v outputs like a yellow hard drive wire. Very low, bearable thump. I have the two powers into my distroblock and the two grounds into another distroblock, and there is only one wire through the firewall.
