Hey guys I'm knew here whats up?

I'm going to be going on a roadtrip soon and would like to power my laptop and 360 slim in the car so I can play my 360 in the on my laptop screen. I know the new 360 uses low voltage. I saw on one site when its playing a big game like Red Dead redemption not intstalled to the HDD it was only using 90 watts! So I bought myself a 500W power inverter. Am I able to plug that power inverter into my cigarette lighter to be able to power the 360 and the laptop or will I blow the port? I would really like to do it this way becuase I will not be running the power inverter to a battery.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated
