    powering monitor

    my monitor needs 12v 1.5 amps...i doubt i can just hook it up to the car battery...

    .... you CAN directly hook it up to the battery if u want....

    you can also power it from a cigarette lighter, or from the 12v molex on the psu.

    not sure if that answered the question...

    it is very hard to know with out knowing what brand/model.type of monitor you have. some monitors are fine getting directly connected to the battery, others are not..
