Unhappy Buying Electrical/Electronic Componenets -- WHERE???

Where do you guys buy electronics components from?? I'm looking for some shops, locally, rather than buying online because this stuff is so cheap, I don't want to pay $10 shipping charges for each item from each vendor?

I'm specifically looking for a 22,000uF cap, a 4700uF cap, the MB6045 diode, and the LT1084IT linear regulator.

I don't want to have to buy online from digikey or arrow since shipping is outrageous for something that costs like $6..

Radio shack had some of the diodes and capacitors for the 12v power regulator circuit, but not all of them..

Also, do I need to do anything special to charge these capacitors? i.e. do I have to hook them up backwards for a couple seconds or anything?

    Thanks,
    Kevin

Depends on what country your in. In the US Rat shack is about the only place so I usually order from digikey or mouser. Both seem to have worked out decent shipping rates as I have always spent less than $10 on shipping. For example from my last order "Your total cost is $59.22 in U.S. currency, including $4.52 postage."

Radio shack online site has everything, much more than any of their stores can hold.
