Angry Complaint on Jeff Mucha's shutdown controller

I live in Indonesia. Transferred money 2 weeks ago. I asked him to send the shutdown controller to my US address. Haven't received anything till now! Emailed him many times and no reply. I am getting worried... What can I do????

I'd be very surprised if he's giving you the run-around, as he has been a member here for a long time and has been rather reputable. I doubt that he is going to start to rip people off for a lousy $30 or so

Sometimes he is slow to reply, I have found that. Just hang on and I'm sure that you'll hear back soon.

My thoughts exactly. I would be really surprised if he is ripping me off, just because I don't live in the US. I really really hope you are right, because this is the last thing I need for my carputer. Y'see Telek, I followed your idea of buying the psu from Magicpower and the shutdown controller from Jeff as I was very impatient with Opus' 90w psu dragging on since April. And it is cheaper too. Keeping my fingers crossed...

Yeah just be patient. Jeff has been around for a long time, he's not going to rip a few people off... He's probably on vacation or something

In the mean time, do you have your Magicpower PSU?

    Yaa, sorry about this order.

The problem with this order is that I have to take the money slip to some branch of a washington mutual, figure out what the number is on the jpg that I was emailed and request the money. I work a 8-5 job and I have to take about an half hour off of work to do this. (This is a lot of work for the 5 bucks profit I make off these.) I have been putting it off but I do plan to ship it.

If you pay with paypal it can take about a week before I ship but I never agreed to accept this kind of payment so you can wait if you drop the ball on me like this.

Power supplies usually ship the same day. Shutdown controllers can take a little longer..

    Heyyy Jeff,

Great to hear from you! I would not drop the ball on you like this if you at least email me. I understand completely on your situation. I even said that I would be really surprised if you ripped me just for $30 bucks. But I hope you can understand that Paypal is not available to Indonesian credit cardholder. And with Western Union Money transfer, I actually have to pay $13 more for the transfer fee.

Anyways, I'm glad that everything has cleared up. I hope you would send the controller soon.

Well, it has been exactly 1 month since I transferred the money to Jeff Mucha and I have not received the shutdown controller from him. I am very disappointed. I don't understand why a person who have supposedly built a good reputation at this mailing list would do this for a measly $35. I have bought LCD screen from DS Customs using the same procedure of transfering via Western Union and he had no problem with it. And he did send the screen too! Kudos to Dave.

This will be the most expensive part for my carputer--$35 (plus transfer fee of $13) for nothing. I guess I will either buy from Mastero or wait for Opus...
