Substitute for M3-ATX?

Hey guys.
Im looking for a substitute for my M3-ATX. Its producing a LOT of interference plus its not working properly (shuts down at every engine start, even though theres enough power).

It should have the same pico-PSU format and also the same features. I also might be able to put a small box outside of the PC case, if there are no picoPSUs with automatic shutdown/start, etc.

Any suggestions? Is there maybe a PSU out now that is much better than the M3-ATX?

There are a number of PSUs that are better (more power, better SSDC circuitry, etc.), but not in that formfactor.

Yeah, I feared as much.
But is there no way to get the same functions with a different picoPSU + a small intelligent external USP?

PicoPSU models don't have startup/shutdown controller. They also require regulated 12vDC.
Those two attributes make them a poor choice for in-car use.

Yeah of course. Thats why I was asking about an external USP that could add a regulated 12V line and automatic shutdown/startup/hibernate functions.

Honestly, you're better off just getting an DC-DC ATX power supply like an M2ATX and mounting it externally.
You'll end up spending less and end up with all the functionality you want.

Mx-ATX PSUs all have these horrible interferences, no matter if mounted inside the case or outside of it. That is the main reason why I want to get rid of mine.
