    Duron 750+3,5" HDD -> is 60W enough ?

    I have a CarPC with a Duron750 and a 3,5" 5400rpm Harddisk.
    The whole thing is running with an 300W inverter, but now in summer the inverter get's very hot and turns off after just 20-30 mins of usage

    So I wanted to buy a DC-DC convertor... the 60W ones are pretty cheap, but do you mean they are enough for my Duron and Harddisk ?

    Or can I put the harddisk directly to the 14v of the car ?
