    Help with this PS please.

Ok, I have this PS that was in my ITX board. I don't need it cause I have a better. What I want to do is use it for my LCD screen only instead of the inverter. How can I do this w/o pluging it into the computer? I know it turns on with the ATX switch or something, so how do iget around this and just use a regular switch? ANy other useful info appreciated.

edit: Here are the specs on it http://procase.com.tw/dcdc.htm
I noticed that it's not supposed to take more than 12.6v. Wonder what will happen with 14.4v? Anyone?

    THanks,
    Derek

If you put more than 12.6v in, the chances are that you will get more than 12v out on the 12v rail. If this is the one you are using to power your screen you may blow your screen (you may as well just connect it straight to the battery - it'll regulate just as much).
