Magden Gauges power supply replacement, Any recommendations ?

    Hi,

I got a used Magden Gauges Computer from a friend, Installed it in my car & Connected everything as it should but unfortunately the unit didn't turn on.

So, I opened the case up to bench test the computer,Using a multimeter i found that the power supply is showing 0 volts on the 12V rail. I swapped the power supply with an ATX one & Voila, The unit worked as it should.

Now, My question, Do you have any idea what power supply they used in the Magden ?, It does look like a pico psu, But AFAIK, Pico cannot be used in cars.

    Here's some pics,

Any idea on a replacement ?

    Thanks,

The wide input series may do it, and the colors are the same... but I wouldn't trust that with car voltage, since it's no good below 12V apparently.

    Thanks for the reply,

The one you posted looks identical to the original one, But let me ask, What's wrong with the minimum input voltage being 12V ? , I know that the car voltage will drop severely at start up which will not allow the PC to start, But it will start when the alternator kicks in !!!

So, Is the problem with such 12-25V wide input power supplies, Is that they will not keep running when engine is cranking ?

    Also, How about the M3 power supply ?, It's a 125W with 6v-24v input range .
