Old Dell Power Supply
Hey all. I have an old Dell Optiplex GX150 that has been laying around. I am leaning towards using it as my car pc. However, the only thing holding me up at the moment is which power supply. Only because I cannot seem to find the specs for power consumption. The huge list that has every processor made does not show up anymore on this site.
Pentium 3 1GHz
Pretty much the rest of the math I can do. Just can't find this small piece of info
I don't think they make steam generators to suit that model anymore.
What OS do you intend running?
LOL yea I know it's ancient. I'll be using XP of course.

From a Google search:
Power Supply for the OptiPlex GX150
DC Power Supply Wattage:
Small form-factor chassis: 100 W
Small desktop chassis: 110 W
Small mini-tower chassis: 200 W
Hope this helps!
Yea thanks. My current standard power supply rating is 200. I am wanting considerations for a DC-DC power supply.

Can you not find something a little more current to use then a p3 1ghz. SNO

I'm actually leaning towards building from scratch instead of trying to use old stuff I already have. Will come out a few dollars more but satisfied with the result.
Debating Gigabyte mobo with celeron 847 1.1GHz($85) and VIA board with 1.6G,800MHz($60). And find a good dc-dc power supply for either
