    Ancillary power consumption

Does anyone know how much power most usb ancillaries consume? Trying to work out how to spread the load over the hubs evenly.

    BT receiver
    Wifi
    Gps
    DAB
    3g dongle
Cameras, assume some of these will have external power?

    Cheers

Should they all not conform to the 500ma usb limitations (well 500ma or under)tho im sure the 3g dongle will be the hungry one.i have one that was supplied with a wall plug..its rated at 500ma but it has router mode also

i think if you plugged it on a running computer you can see their real consumptions . there is also a software called "usb device view" which probably can be a lot of help identify each usb properties. i just plugged my 8gb donlge and it gives me 200ma.
