    Lcd power supply Question

    Hey I just got a Kogi 14inch lcd screen. It dident come with a powersupply and calls for 12v. Right now im using a 18v transformer from a laptop to plug in, which works fine. I just thing when i install this into my car will it be better to plug in to a 12v ignition from the car or go threw the computers powersupply I install ? or mabe an alternitive ? whats the best way ?

    Computer's power supply is cleanest (for a good stable 12v). Yellow is 12v, black is ground.

    Car's ignition is not a clean 12v, more like 14v when running.
    Old Systems retired due to new car
    New system at design/prototype stage on BeagleBoard.
