I'll let you know, I bought one today.
I've seen the PW-120 powersupply on these threads and also on Ebay, and it looks identical to the PW-70 made by Ituner. However Itunder doesn't mention it on their site. So is this a remarked Power Supply or something else?
I'll let you know, I bought one today.

mmm... I have also seen these PSU's on eBay and would be very interested in finding out about them! I'll be interested in what you have to say aethernaut!![]()
i have one and it is made by iTuner although not listed on the site. Pretty good make although there is no regulator on board.
It is also meant for the Via Eden range
its the same thing....well same as the pw-70 "A" which they say has 100 watts plus.. and they are coming out with shutdown/regulator in just two short weeks! lol ....too bad that was two months ago
Yeah - was told the same thing in an email 3 weeks ago. Their own FAQ says to check back in September!Originally Posted by Retuprac

Funny the datasheet claims that the 12V output is regulated to +/-5% up to 7A.

I bought my PW-120 for another project I'm working on, a PVR home entertainment system that'll burn DVD's. I'm using a Casetronic minITX 2699R, VIA M-10000, 3 1/2" 160gB drive AND, ta-da! a slimline DVD+R burner (ask me where I got that one).
The supplied Casetronic 60W supply was woefully underpowered, and this PW-120 was the only one I could find to fit in the case. I should get mine in a few days, so I'll be able to test it and answer questions. I'm very interested in how they can double the power rating without adding a regulator and massive heatsink somewhere.

The story behind how an Itunes PW-70 becomes an Audioforge PW-120:
Pop the old reg off.
Government solder a new, (hopefully higher rated one) in.
Fashion and apply a sticker saying "PW-120" exactly over "Itunes PW-60"
Presto-chango - sell 'em on ebay.
Before anyone asks, I'm not flipping that regulator over to get the number, you can all guess. I bought this one to work.
