    Question psone screen to computer psu adapter?

    I was wondering if there was an adapter i could *BUY* to connect my psone screen directly to my psu for my computer so that i don't have to solder anything.

    There is a Cig power connector for PSone screen about 10 bucks. GameStop and EB have it.

    you cant buy, since no psu I know outputs 7v, by not combining the 5 and 12 rails

    adjustable voltage reg will do the trick if you want to make one. Just be sure it can do 1 amp and you'll be fine. It'll cost you about $5 including a molex to plug into the psu

    No site avail sorry, you'll need to do some digging.

    Just search "Adjustible Voltage Regulator" and something should come up.

    If i'd ever written the how to for caraudioaust then i'd put it up here but it never happened...

    Nope - that just puts out a ciggy lighter from your computer, and since its in the car and you already have one whats the point?

    you'll need to find someone with some electronics skills, and one reg that would do it is the LM317 series. Search for that and you should find something
