    Loss of power on ignition

    Hi

I have my 12v power supply connected to a DC-DC board that runs my 533mHz mini-itx system. This all works great, however when I start my engine the machine looses power and turns of the supply.

I assume this is due to the momentary voltage drop across the 12volt car supply.

Are there any solutions to this? eg Is it possible to add some form of capacitive circuit to buffer the voltage drop or perhaps a small battery?

    Thanks

    TANK CIRCUIT

I believe basically its a huge capacitor and something else.
    Mine needs to be updated.
