Orange, your avatar is profoundly disturbing to me. I just thought I'd mention that.

    Just a quick update.

Kris finally got back to me and I finally received a reimbursment via PayPal after sending another more "legal" or "threatening" email. I never did receive any payments for the boarder costs, only the costs of shipping. Although, shipping to Canada MEANS boarder costs. In fact the boarder costs were more than the shipping costs!

Either way, Kris has finally come thru, and I have all my parts, a small reimbursement, and now I just have to solder this 90W resister fix on and I will be on my way, finally after being one of the first orders for the 90W!!

I too, have had an unfortunate experience with Kris from Opus. Basically the company has a product which is in great demand and their customer service and product supply is abismal. Emails are not responded to and the customer is blatenly lied to regarding delivery times. I have wasted god knows how much on telephone calls to America and now I have given up. If it ever does turn up then I'll have to pay import duty as well! I just hope another company comes along in the U.K with a better product soon. eBay auctions was the only place I could find an Opus to enable me to progress with my project.

Customer service has definitely not been as I'd hope during my transaction, but the unit has finally arrived here in the UK (quicker than I expected, too) and it had an undervalued invoice so I didn't get hit with any taxes.

Sure hope I don't have the same problem, I've ordered my 90w Opus and I still haven't gotten a reply after 2 days.

I'm sure you'll receive it...you just might not know when to expect it!

2 days is nothing.... I got mine after 10 days and had no contact with Kris until he sent me a shipment notification email (which was incidentally 1 day after I received the Opus)...
