us$30 is a good price, but it's for 24volt batteries (or between 19V and 32V, recording to specifications on the page...), so unless you're gonna make a car pc for a truck or something it's no use as far as i know...

Nice PSU, but $179 is a bit high. May as well go with the Opus 150W.
    So far:
    M10000 Nehemiah, 1Gb RAM, Opus 90w PS, Buffalo Tech WLI2-USB2-G54, 160 Gb HDD, GlobalSat BU-353 GPS, iGuidance, Zippy EL-610, Panasonic CW8123B Slim Slot CDRW/DVD, 10" Lilliput, Sony XA-300, Sony CDX-MP30 Head, OBD-II

    Thumbs up Keypower

I'm pretty sure the PSU you are talking about is the one that is manufactured by Keypower. I got a keypower about 6 months ago and I highly recommended it. Opus told me that I would not be able to run a full size motherboard and Athlon processor on their 150 watt psu, but I have my computer, display, harddrive, dvd and all that good stuff running on the Keypower PSU without it breaking a sweat. Also it does any excellent job of handling Suspend-to-Ram functions as well.

If you can get away with using Opus PSU then you should use it. If you require more wattage, then go with Keypower. Keep in mind that Opus is over 90% efficient and Keypower is only 60%. This means that if you have 2 identical PCs with one powered by Opus and the other powered by Keypower, the Opus system will out last the keypower system by roughly about 30% longer. In other words If you have both systems turned on for 2 hours, you'll have better chance to start up your car if you had the Opus PSU. You should read the faq thread in the newbie section. There's a good post about PSUs.
