If you have a carputer that uses a lot of power i think its a good solution.
I will have the prices soon , for quantities and samples, but i was told that it shouldnt be more than 150 us$ for the 250w unit

I got the same thing basically, 186 shipped. Heres the weird thing about mine though. As soon as I atached the wire to the + terminal, it turned on. Didnt have to press a switch or anything. I didnt get the chance to setup the motherboard to auto turn on after power loss so it cant be that. Now as soon as I get my xenarc fixed (reversed the polarity on it, i knew I shouldnt have followed the damn instructions), ill update you folks on how it works.

They have discount pricing too. Customer service is great as well. I really think id rather order from them. What if theres something wrong with the psu? You gonna spend another 35 to get it shipped there?

The only thing neg about this PSU is the efficiency rate compare to the OPUS, but it can handle more power. Hmm, looks very nice... This doesn't seem to have a shutdown controller on it though... And also looks to be the same size as a 'normal' PSU?? Is the Sproggy smaller?

the 80watt 10.8~26VDC to 12VDC board looks like a contender for replacing the morex DC-DC board.

Vin range... Note that in car Vin can be 8...16V (> you'll have reboot)
No shutdown ctrl and no car battery monitoring as the opus voltage
but the price for a 250W is great (why use 250W when you can play divx 5 with 30W)
I' also saw this kind of psu in europe (but you got a great price)
