Hi everyone. I would like to see if we can put together a group purchase on the ACE-810V by Quantum. As my own installation needs a rugged and robust set of gear, this looks perfect. Also, it has a built in battery for unexpected input power failure!! This PSU is sold primarily through industrial electronic distributors, but I have gotten a pretty decent price from ICP America.
Information Link: http://www.icpamerica.com/ace_810_818.php
From Manufacturer: http://www.quantum.com.pl/produkty_ACE-810.html
Data Sheet: http://www.quantum.com.pl/pliki/08-PowerSupply-16.pdf
Price for 5 -10 units: $210 each
Price for 10+ units: $205 each
This unit is used in computers mounted within police cars, forklifts, public transportation vehicles, etc.
Let me know if you are interested.
Cheers.

100W (80W no fan) output, built in battery, auto start and stop and built for industrial use. Is it me or is this thing perfect?![]()

Why does the price go up the more units you buy? Or does that price mean $210 total?
Oops.... damn dislexia.Originally Posted by unsavory

and $210 for 5 units.
Thanks.
Edit made to original post.
it doesnt have a built in battery, it allows you to connect an extra battery just in case the first discharges/fails etc

Maybe I am really really new at this. Actually I am. But what does 3.3V have to do with anything at all? Isn't 12V the only source you need?Originally Posted by m3rdpwr
