hi, if anyone in australia are interested in a group buy on this PSU from Opus, please email me your details of what PSU you'd like! opus will help with a reduced product invoice so we DONT have to pay 15% customs, gst is still an uncertainty (just expect it %10), so in addition to the cost of the psu you'd only have to chip in for the shipping costs ($10AUD+), then either pickup in melbourne, or local postage cost from melb to your city in australia.

Though I think the 150w is the way to go, I'd be interested in preferably an Opus 90w open frame with trigger, due to its slightly smaller pcb footprint. Is it possible to mix the group buy with different spec Opuses?

nah freeman - 150W is there largest model (for now anyway)

We won't have to pay GST on it - because its ordered from overseas

Customs don't charge anything unless its over $500 value (no including shipping i *think*) and even then there are ways of avoiding customs if the seller wants to be nice (like declaring it as a gift and such)

zantech sells p4 12V DC-DC PSU's with 250w, but they dont have a shutdown controller or regulator, and input voltage is 9VDC-18VDC unlike opus' 7VDC-18VDC

i rang customs yesterday, if the gst and customs comes to $50 or less then u dont have to pay, other wise %10 + %15 even if order from overseas, i had to pay this for a 7in in dash lcd unfortunetly

we'll have to have a talk to kris from opus if he can arrange something
