    MicroATX power consumption

    I am fed up with EPIA M10000 mobo because of it's video, no support for it, cant set widescreen resolution, so I am thinking to move to some MicroATX board, like Asus, have bought before PSU from Audioforge on eBay, that, which is rebuilt iTuner 70w PSU with soldering one additional IC and claiming it will give 120w, I wonder how much power MicroATX board would consume, would like to power the board with this PSU

    I will also be replacing my EPIA M9000 with an Asus microATX board soon, due to all the problems I've had with it. I'm thinking I will also have to break down and get an Opus 150. That should have enough power if I stick with a laptop drive and use a Celeron vice P4.

    That's right. EPIA was small enough to fit into my car's dash but I am ready to bould a pc in a trunk, if everithing will be working ok. And probably will put Linux, as I supposed to do before, linux is more flexible.
    so anybody knows what power is neede for MicroATX-es?

    There's no need to use a laptop hard disk - the Opus 150W has more than enough juice to power your config. My Opus 150W is powering the following:
    - ECS P4VMM2 uATX mb
    - 256 MB RAM
    - Celeron 1.7 GHz
    - Seagate 40 GB 7200rpm hard disk
    - Pixelview PlayTV Pro (TV/FM card)
    - Lilliput 7" LCD monitor with USB touchscreen
    - GlobalSat BU-303 USB GPS mouse
    - 4-port USB hub
    - ATI Remote Wonder USB receiver

    The Opus 150W is rock solid - powers up reliably every time and best of all, there's NO noise on my MP3s and I did not have to resort to all kinds of fancy grounding.
