    Powering Lilliput

I have an Opus 90w on order way. Can someone advise if it is OK to take a 12v output from the computer (say through a hard drive connector) to power the lilliput, or should I continue to use the grey 'egg'.

    Thanks

yes this is fine - mine is powered this way.

in fact it is better than using the lilliput's own voltage regulator:
i drive a manual car and when starting off the screen used to dim as the engine revs dropped, now its powered through a 90w opus and the screen brighter and never dims!!!!
