The easiest way would be to extend one of the hard drive power connectors and grab the 12v from there (yellow wire)

Can you power the xenarc with the yellow wire from the radio harness ( nothing else would be getting power from that wire, just the screen)
    thanks

Depends what the V is. I would personally feel safer powering it from the yellow wire from the PC

This is what Kris from Opus mailed me:

"You can use the drive power connecter +12V to power the LCD. provided if you have enough reserve power.

Say i have also a screen not xenarc though , now i got a positive and negative for power from it, should i just "Y" connect them to the yellow 12volt? or do i connect the positive to the yellow and the GND from the opus with the negative from the screen?

    thanks

Take the yellow +12V from an unused drive power connector and connect that to the positive of your screen.
Use a black negative from the same drive power connector and connect that to the negative.

But I wouldnt have to "Y" connect it, I'm installing with now headunit. Will there be enough reserve power to power the xenarc?

I think you are confused. The yellow wire going to your radio is not regulated and should NOT be used for screen power. You will have to Y a drive power cable from the PC and extend it to the screen. this will supply 12v regulated power to the screen

I got a cigarette lighter adaptor with my xenarc so I would assume it would work fine just hardwired into the power for the cigarette lighter. Why do you want to connect it after the OPUS and not directly to the car's power?
