Alright, anyway. How well is the opus at supplying, say, larger than its rated capacity. Or, is opus looking to create perhaps a 200w PS in the future?

Am I better off with an inverter?



I would have to say a inverter Im running a AMD 1700+ and when I try running my system with a 200 Watt AC power supply I get nothing not even 200 watts was enough to power it, Im running a 300 watt Inverter and a 300 watt AC power supply and it works.

I'm running a very similar setup, Anthlon 2000+, MiniATX mb, Onboard GeForce MX, NIC, Lots of USB, everything except the DVD drive and have no problem running it all on my Opus 150 watt. This same setup didnt run off a regular 150watt supply when hooked up in my house.

The OPUS is a very capable power supply. I think you should be fine with it, but even if its too much you can always go external with the DVD and underclock it a bit and you won't have any problems.
