I'm not sure what my final
power consumtion is going to be yet, so lemme just post what I'm gonna be hooking up. I used the calc to estimate 130w of power usage. Probably closer to 150 when its all done, if not more.
Mobile Athlon XP 2400+
Asus A7N8X-VM/400 (
Onboard GeforceMX, LAN)
512MB PC2700 Corsair
Audigy2
Three 80mm fans, one mouse/keyboard.
40GB Western Digital (7200RPM, 8MB Cache)
DVD Rom Drive (Pioneer 106s, 16X
Slot Load)
An 802.11b card (still deciding, plus external 5dB gain antenna (magnetic mount).)
iTrek Mouse USB GPS (and external antenna)
Also I'll prolly order the DWW-7VGA from digitalww... that thing is sweet lookin.
(I've already ordered everything from the Mobile Athlon to the Hard Drive. DVD to LCD is still "up in the air" as to what I pick.)
Alright, anyway. How well is the opus at supplying, say, larger than its rated capacity. Or, is opus looking to create perhaps a 200w PS in the future?
Am I better off with an inverter?
I would have to say a inverter Im running a AMD 1700+ and when I try running my system with a 200 Watt AC power supply I get nothing not even 200 watts was enough to power it, Im running a 300 watt Inverter and a 300 watt AC power supply and it works.
Thanks in advance,
Kai.
