    another question about ITPS

    Hi all!
I was readin' ITPS tech specs, and I saw that Vin range is 5V-15V.
I was thinkin' ITPS should survive to a crank, but most of you said no...
What is the problem with ITPS? when I crank, my battery goes low to 10.5V, which is greater than 5V...
A quick explanation would be great....
    thanks in advance!
    bye

My suggestion is the Opus Since I got mine, I've had no problems whatsoever with my carputer

And no, I don't work for Opus!

    Input Min. voltage 5V

Now there's also the pw80A, that works with Vin=11-30V!!

Are there any OPUS suppliers in the UK?
I've done a search but don't seem to be able to find any!
Look forward to finding out so I can order the last part of my carputer.

    Spyda,

    LinITX have the 150W Opus!!

My boss ordered all his carputer bits (other than screen and GPS) from there on Tuesday night, and it arrived with him first thing yesterday morning!

I also ordered my motherboard from there, and it arrived within a couple of days

Very professional from my experience thus far

    ehm....
sorry, but my qestion was about itps, not opus...
anyway, my plan is to use the pc in the car and at home, so I would like to use a pw70a with an ac/dc at home and with a dc/dc in the car...

    bye!
