Those of us with fussy inverters...

I envy you guys that can crank the engine with the PC still running. The problem I have is that the battery voltage drops just enough to trigger the low-voltage shutdown circuit. I haven'y found any way to adjust or disable this threshold, and it cost me 120

I have found that if I have been running the PC for a while with the engine off, and try and crank with the lights on it cuts out, but I have learnt. and always make the lights are off when i crank.

My inverter won't cut out when cranking, but it will sound it's "fault" alarm. The damn thing is so annoying. My opus was worth the money.

    2nd battery

This is why I installed a 2nd battery with a isolator so when I crank the motorcar, the starter does not pull any nice juice from the inverter battery and
my cpu does not get effected in any way.

I don't have any of these problems. I'm using a Radio Shack invertor, similar to this one, but not exactly the same (mine's smaller):

Eventually, I'd like to go with a dual battery, just to be safe.
