Assist with PW-70A and ITPS wiring please

OK, ready to install PW-70A and ITPS. Boy, the instructions that come with these are horrible but I think I have it figured out.

The PW70-A snaps onto the motherboard. Easy enough.

I then assume that the wires from the ITPS plug one are spliced onto the PW-70A wires #1. Then the wires from ITPS #2 are the ones that connect to the vehicle itself.

    Refer to these photos please.

    Sounds right.

I am also guessing that the 2-wire plug you haven't marked on the ITPS is for the power button on the MB.
Do not confuse it with the similar 2-wire plug on the PW70A, as it is 5V for extra devices.

I hooked up the one from the ITPS to the motherboard. The one from the PW-70A is left unplugged.

    Correct??

I'm trying to learn this stuff. I'm not an electrical guy. Definitely a noob. Excuse my ignorance.

You mention splice above for the connection from the ITPS to the PW-70A. Do they not just plug together?

    Also....

I see an AC to DC power supply that lists it is compatable with the PW-70A ( http://shop.store.yahoo.com/ituner/ac12v9aswpoa.html ) Is there an input for the round plug coming off that power suply. I would assume this would be useful for testing indoors with an AC outlet before moving it to the car. Is my assumtion correct?

    Thanks..
