So you didn't check the 12v coming _out_ of the power supply like I suggested. <shrug>

Hes getting 13.9V in the the ITPS. That should be enough to put out a constant 12V.

Yes as rob said do measure the in and out voltages of the ITPS. If you do get a 12V out of the ITPS then it should work fine.

If you are still having problems I suspect the ITPS is having problems turning your PC on. Verify this by connecting a spare PC on/off button directly to the motherboard. See if you can turn on your PC on/off manually with the ITPS supplying the power.

I had the exact same problem with my lilliput. It turned out I had a bend in the monitor connector.. Recheck it to make sure all the pins are perfectly stright.

It could be because you screwed with some settings in the bios. I just did that yesterday. I set a setting in the Advanced Chipset features to LCD by acciden and was left with no screen. I had to flash the CMOS.

okay i will have a look in the BIOS, .....

but could it really be the problem, cause sometimes it works fine and starts like it should ???

i just tried to put a new RAM block in and then it startet the first time, so maybe its was a bad ram block i had in ???

i will now wait till morning to see if it wil start then, cause the carputer has never been able to start after it has been left in the car overnigt....so if it starts i the morning, the problem may be solved....i hope

thanks for all your replys, can only say this i truly a great forum !!!

    Best Regards
    Kenneth

That's odd, because you said it was all ok when you booted from 220v. But if it fixes it, great.

also check to see if it is realy booting when this happens with another monitor if it does boot lower your sync fq in display settings most small vga displays sync under 40 hz and windows does not alwase auto detect them properly and will default to 50 hz I had this problem with my Tview 7" vga display from DWW.com

Okay i will try this......if i understand you correctly i should change the monitor Hz, via booting on a normal monitor, and it might solve the problem ?

and the power cable connector is lying in the trunk and i havent screwed it in any fixed position. ( i will bolt this fermly allsow)
