Thread: Quick question @ powering a laptop.....

Hey y'all, I tried ing, and just want to know if this: http://www.laptopparts.com/laptop-au...uery=Solo+1150 would be adequate for my needs. I have a spare Gateway laptop that I can use for the car, and my specific model (1150) did not ever have a docking station available for it. I know many of you are using the Opus as a power source (mainly to save it from rebooting & such), but with the laptop's internal battery....wouldn't it basically work the same way? It won't shut down & reboot everytime I crank the car, will it? Hope someone can give some advice as to what my options are. Thanks in advance!!!!
