Thread: i broke my opus :(

    i broke my opus :(

    i was remote desktoping my carpc, and the battery in teh car died, and the hdd crashed and now the hdd wont do anything.
    so i replaced the hdd, and now my opus wont do anything, the led dosent even flash
    what can i do?
    do opus do repairs?
    is there anything i can do (the 15amp fuse inside the case is fine.)

    check if power is coming before the opus with a multimeter. if it is then youropus is busted. nxt time try to put a fuse before the psu

    If it's a 150w, then open up the case and check the fuse inside. There's a 15 Amp fuse in there. You might be able to see it through the slots if you look closely enough.

    kris at opus does repairs. they have mine there right now. i to, made a boo boo with my opus.

    CHECK THE FUSE INSIDE....let us know how it goes!

    i already checked the fuse inside :P and there was a fuse before the opus too, and they are both fine.
    i will go out and check all the connections later, and try to get it goin.

    any other suggestions?
    i will email opus, but im in the uk so it would be an *** to send.

    craig, actually 4 things! my opus, my hdd, the touchscreen (you fixed) and the actual screen stopped working (but i got brave with some ribbon cable and fixed it) !! hehe.

    enforcer i used linitx to get my m10000, but the postal company lost it (just my luck) so they ended up sendin me another one.
