I saw a web page where a guy took apart his power supply, explained to precautions about the internal heatsinks (passing voltage through heatsink etc), and showed how he modded his heatsinks to be external. He desoldered the heatsinks and power chips from the board, extended with some wires, and connected them to larger external heatsinks.

Has anyone else done this?

I'm working on it right now for my system. I still plan on integrating some fans into the system, but I was curious if anyone else has tried this.
