It's worth it. Just use an inverter while waiting for your Opus to arrive. At the end of the X weeks, you'll be so happy you'll kiss the mailman when he shows up with the package.Originally Posted by ryanreko
Is it really worth all that wait or is there something else that I can use in the shuttle for a dc to dc psu and itps....?

The crappy thing is that when I talked to opus 4 weeks ago he said it would be 4 weeks. I talked to him again yesterday and now he says it will be another 4 weeks.
Oh ya, congrats Zip lock on your 500th post
AMD XP 2600+/512MB RAM/120GB hard drive
Opus 150W/DVD/GPS/7" Lilliput TS/802.11g/Bluetooth
Installed.
-GPSSecure- - GPS Tracking
-AltTabber2.2.2- - Handy touchscreen utility.
I bought one from ziplock (mp3car.com store)... 3 day wait
Somehow I think I bought his final Opus 90w...
you know the psycho side of me thinks that kris is doing this wait intentionally to create demand.
Mine needs to be updated.
6 weeks ago, my opus was going to be ready in 3-4 weeks. 3 Weeks ago, it was going to be ready in 1 week. 2 weeks ago it was going to be ready in 1 week. Last week it was going to be ready this week. Now, it's supposed to be ready next week.
Fortunately, my Lilliput is equally delayed.![]()
MP3Car.com is by far the best place to buy an Opus, if they have them in stock. Support this place!
If you can't find an Opus quickly enough, Arise is a VERY viable alternative for $79: http://www.arisecomputer.com/ps/mpd810.asp You still need to add a shutdown controller if you want that functionality, however.
Is it safe to say that its probably longer than the 4 weeks that he said?
