You're leaving out the most important part, what motherboard and CPU?
what would you get if you had the chance to get an opus 90watt, or an opus 150watt, for only a 50 dollars price difference.
all i have is a lilliput, with a c134 case, slim dvd, slimm hd, 256mb ram, zippy keyboard and a gps, i might add a couple of extra usb devices, like a another hd, and a i don't know, but here is my situation, help me decide.
also how have people ran the cables, in to the case, and from which side, ibut had no luck, some people talked about it but never posted a picture or followed through with a post, unless i just happened to have missed it.

I have an Opus 150 and a C134. I run an ATX extension cable out the the DVD opening but am still thinking about a cleaner solution. At a minimum you will need to pass 8 signals (-12, GND, +3.3, +5, +12, +5VSB, PON, PG), not including the 2 wire motherboard power switch cable. With a little drilling and a rubber grommet, you should be able to fit them out the back.
You could also just use the interal Morex PSU in your C134 to power your motherboard. In that case, you'd feed the Morex +12v from your Opus, use the Opus 2 wire header as your motherboard power switch, and just pass the PG and PON signals back to the Opus.
my bad, but thanks for the hella quick reply,
it is an epia m10000, the problem is i have a cdrom drive, so can't go throught the front, i guess i have to enter through the back, man i just got a sick mental picture. wow, yeah, back on topic. so what do you think
also rando sounds like you know a lot about electronics, do you think the hardware in the 150w versus 90w, is any better, such as the parts, and also the feature, or is it just a difference in wattage,
what if i drill a hole through the bottom, where the current psu is and attach, the 16 pin connector and everything throught that and use a grommet,
It's up to you. It really depends on how you want to mount the case.
allright, so would you get the opus 150watt, or 90 watt, i might jsut buy both. any is there any other advantage to the 150 except more wattage
I just pulled epia mII 10k, 512 meg pc2700, 60 gig 2.5", usb dvd-rom, usb hub, touch screen, lilliput, wireless mouse, gps receiver and joystick all on the opus 90w.
I didn't have an extra fan or usb keyboard on but those devices dont really draw too much.
Mine needs to be updated.
You'll probably have no problem selling whichever one you don't use.
You should only need the 90 watt because you're only using an ITX board. The 90 watt has the advantage of having the option to disable standby power.
