Question Power up / down quest.

I dont want to wait for my computer to power up when i get in my car. I want to be able to just touch the screen and it come out of sleep mode.

Is it possible to run somthing to the battery like an power inverter so that the computer is always on and just in sleep mode?

How much consumption of the batter would that take, and would it kill or run the battery if it sat like that?

I just dont want to wait or have the computer being turned off and on all the time.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks.

have it turn on via your alarm unlock/lock.

You get off work you are a distance from your car chirp chirp... then it starts booting. By the time you get there is up and running and you won't have to leave it on. You get in your car a start it up and go make sure you get a opus PSU or it will restart when you crank your engine over.
