Did you wire the positive and negative to the battery?
You can just wire the postive, and then connect the ground to any piece of bare metal on the car.
but wouldnt that (maybe) cause interferance???Originally Posted by archimense
also .... direct to the OPUS .. would it drain the battery?
You have the most important thing done when it comes to safety... always have your positive fused within 10" of the positive terminal of the battery... anything else is just a nice addition (such as wire loom for looks)... that'll do!

I can't quite tell, are the wires just kind of wedged under the batt cables?
Looks fine. Though I would suggest adding some split-loom tubing to dress it up as well as protect it.

Also, what is that thing on the positive wire, right under the hold-down clamp? Is it one of those quick connectors? If so, pitch that thing and solder the connection there.
Its a ring connector which I attatched to the terminal. Will try to solder it and put the tubing on the wire. Thanks for the help...
I was talking about the square block under the battery hold-down clamp.Originally Posted by musicthebee
